Excellent service. Picked us up from the port in Heraklion and brought us to the rental car area across from the airport to pick up our vehicle. They were able to provide us with a similar vehicle size compared to what we booked - they gave us a vehicle with more trunk space after seeing our luggage which was very appreciated. Super easy return and even helped with recommendations for stops along the way. We are travelling with a toddler and by far they gave us the nicest/cleanest car seat based on our experience in Greece. They were also very sweet to our daughter. When looking online to book rates, they had a great selection at a very fair price compared to a lot of the other rental companies. Would definitely rent again.

Traffic car rentals was a great experience. The car was just right and the clerk at the kiosk was very helpful and amiable. On my next trip to Crete I will definitely use Traffic again.

Amazing experience with ,,Trafic"(AEGEAN) car rental! Super easy to find—right across from Heraklion airport in the rental car park, just follow the red flags with the ‘Trafic’ sign. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they explain everything clearly in English or German. The cars are spotless, well-sanitized, and in excellent condition. I’ll definitely rent from them again next time in Crete. Highly recommended!”

Car got delivered an hour late, but wasn't in a rush so not a big problem. Rented the cheapest option and got a Toyota Yaris. It was fine but it felt a bit roughed up under the hood. The option to have the car delivered in Agia Pelagia and then hand it in at the airport a week later was great.

Aegean were really good for our trip in Crete. Met me at my hotel and I dropped the car back at an airport on otherside of island for a minimal surcharge which was cheaper than competitors. Drop off was so easy and hassle free. I reviewed loads of companies before picking aegean and they all had the odd dodgy review but for the price I was well chuffed. Will use them next year when we return 🫂

The first vehicle was really old, with questionable suspension noises and ineffective brakes. We came back the next day to dispute it. After a long discussion, the woman was willing to give us another vehicle, this one was very good. But I lost €50 of gas that I had put in the first vehicle when leaving the airport!

Had a great experience with Aegean car rental. Their office is right outside the arrivals terminal at Heraklion international airport I had a flight delay and arrived there late at night, the representative who delivered the car was very nice, the process was clear and fast. Since i took the full insurance package, there was no deposit and the return was very fast and and easy as well. The car was good, clean and well maintained. Great option with competitive prices. Many thanks! (Just note that the office is branded: Traffic and not Aegean, it was made clear in the confirmation emails)

We are very happy with Aegean Rentals! Two families rented cars – a Fiat Panda Hybrid and a Hyundai i10 – and everything went smoothly. A representative was waiting for us at Chania Airport, even though our flight was delayed by 2.5 hours. The cars were new, clean, and in excellent condition. The parking lot is very close to the airport, but after returning the cars, they drove us back to the terminal for free with a shuttle. Friendly service, reliable company, and great attitude. Highly recommend!

Tuvimos gran experiencia en el alquiler del auto en Creta . Tuvimos problemas con el tamaño del baúl (ni entraban las maletas) y amablemente nos dirigieron a la oficina de Chania donde nos lo cambiaron por otro modelo. Siempre respondieron los mensajes de WhatsApp, recomiendo .

Great experience! They are working with a partnering firm Traffic rentals, so I had to call them for that info because I couldn't find the renting tent on Heraklion airport / but besides that everything was smooth. They are very responsive to calls and emails.
