Standard Insurance Package – Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in the rental price and limits the renter’s financial responsibility for damage to the vehicle, up to a specific excess amount (also known as a deductible). The excess depends on the vehicle category:

• Group A, B: €800

• Group C, C1, L1: €900

• Group D, L2: €1,000

• Group K, K1: €1,100

• Group D2: €1,200

• Group L3, S1, S2, E, E1: €1,300

• Group S3, K2, K3, F: 1,600

• Group S4: €1,800

Excess Deposit Policy

• The excess amount is reserved (pre-authorized) for the duration of the rental.

• This can be done via credit/debit card or in cash.

• The payment method must be under the name of the driver.

• The full amount will be refunded at the end of the rental if no damage has occurred.

Full Insurance Package

• Drive with confidence knowing you’re protected against most unexpected events, with no excess (deductible) required.

  Full Damage Waiver & Comprehensive Protection (FDW & WUG)

  • Covers damages to:

    • Underside of the vehicle

    • Windscreens and windows

    • Tires and wheels

    • Engine and mechanical parts

  • Offers full protection against accidental damage, so you can enjoy your trip with fewer concerns.

  Theft Protection (TP)

  • Covers vehicle theft, excluding incidents resulting from driver negligence.

  • Helps ensure financial protection in the event of a stolen vehicle.

  Public Liability Insurance (PL)

  • Covers up to €1,000,000 for:

    • Bodily injury to third parties

    • Property damage caused to others

  • Provides essential coverage in case of an accident involving other people or vehicles.

  Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)

  • Passengers are covered up to €1,000,000 for injury-related expenses.

  • The driver is covered up to €15,000.

  • Ensures added protection for everyone inside the vehicle.

    Super Collision Damage Waiver (S.C.D.W.)

    For certain vehicle categories that do not offer Full Insurance, the S.C.D.W. option is available. This upgrade reduces the renter’s financial liability (excess) in case of damage, by paying a daily fee.

    S.C.D.W. is available for the following categories with reduced excess amounts:

    • Group E, E1: €400

    • Group S3, K2, K3: €600

    • Group S4, F: €800

    This option provides added peace of mind for renters of higher-category vehicles where full insurance isn’t available.
